Rosemary Can Benefit Chickens

Rosemary is an herb that we especially love adding to a supper of crispy potatoes and roasted chicken. Not only does rosemary help chickens taste delicious, but they also can benefit chickens when they are alive. Rosemary helps chickens by acting as a pain reliever and relieves respiratory issues. We have it planted right outside of the door to the chicken coop. The chickens pass by it daily on their way to and from the coop. They are free to eat it as they please.

Rosemary is also a natural insecticide to get rid of unwanted pests in the chicken coop.  Just simply add rosemary to their nesting boxes. Also as an added benefit it smells nice!
