Farm Fresh Eggs

I believe when most people think of a local family farm, they think of farm fresh eggs with the quintessential free roaming barnyard hens scattered about the farm in search of good eats.

Most caged chickens eat bagged chicken scratch mixed with laying pellets, but not the free roaming backyard flock. Instead they eat vegetables and fruits from the garden as well as flowers and grasses. They also find bits of grains and seeds.  They also supplement their diet as they scratch the ground for juicy bugs.

All of this varied diet goes into producing the best eggs for breakfast with rich deep yolks and packed with nutrition for you and your family. Hooray for free roaming barnyard hens!
